A standard 50-minute consultation is priced at $220, but with a Medicare rebate of $98.95, your out-of-pocket expense comes to $121.05. 
Thanks to the Medicare Better Access program, Medicare cardholders with a Mental Health Care Plan can receive rebates for up to 10 sessions each calendar year, making mental health care more accessible. For concession cardholders, the fee is reduced to $200 per consultation, while still benefiting from the $96.65 Medicare rebate.
